Mount Panorama is not a track. It's a 6.2 km public road that turns into a cathedral of speed once a year for historic machinery.
Bathurst Classic is Australia's biggest historic motor racing festival, held on the legendary Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales. For three days, the same tarmac that hosts the Bathurst 1000 echoes with carburetted V8s, rotary Mazdas, Mini Coopers, Mustangs, Toranas, Falcons, Porsches and open-wheel Formula 5000 cars.
No hybrids. No silence. Just raw revs, tyre smoke on Mountain Straight, and door-to-door battles from Hell Corner to The Chase.
From 1:5 Skyline dive to 300 km/h Conrod Straight, 23 corners, blind crests, concrete walls. Our drivers say: “If you can win at Bathurst in a 1972 Torana with drum brakes, you can win anywhere.”
